Today, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) invited 1,451 individuals to apply for permanent residency in two recent invitation rounds.
Out of these, 630 invitations were extended through the OINP Foreign Worker stream. These invitations were given to individuals with a job offer in one of the 63 specified skilled trade occupations. To qualify, applicants needed to have a score of 33 or higher.
In another draw from the OINP Foreign Worker stream, 821 invitations were issued to individuals holding a job offer in either of the 41 healthcare or 15 technology occupations, which are outlined later in this article. Applicants needed to have a score of 40 or above to be eligible for consideration.
