To calculate your adjusted family net income (AFNI), follow these steps:
- Add your net income (line 23600) from your tax return and your spouse’s or common-law partner’s net income from their tax return.
- Subtract the income received from the Universal Child Care Benefit (UCCB) and Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) from the total obtained in Step 1.
The resulting amount will be your adjusted family net income (AFNI), which is used to determine your eligibility and the amount you’ll receive for the Canada Child Benefit (CCB).
