Ontario OINP Draw: Ontario Invited 1,061 Applicants on July 20, 2023

In the latest draw, the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) has conducted a draw specifically aimed at the Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream, inviting a total of 1,061 Express Entry profiles. These profiles were directly selected from the pool of candidates who had submitted their applications online during the period of July 20, 2022, to July 20, 2023.

The provincial nomination provides an added advantage of 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points, significantly increasing the chance of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the next Express Entry draw.

Selected Express Entry profiles will now have 45 days to accept the provincial nomination, resulting in a considerable boost to their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.

Applicants of Healthcare and Tech Occupations Invited in Recent Draw

In this Ontario-OINP draw, two groups of candidates received invitations.

Tech Professionals

Ontario OINP Draw: Ontario Invited 1,061 Applicants on July 20, 2023

The first group, consisting of applicants in Tech occupations, received 902 invitations. Their CRS scores ranged from 458 to 462, and their profiles were created between July 20, 2022, and July 20, 2023.

Healthcare Professionals

The second group, targeting 42 Health occupations, received 159 invitations. Just like the Tech group, their CRS scores fell within the range of 458 to 462, and their profiles were also created between July 20, 2022, and July 20, 2023.

These invitations provide a fantastic opportunity for candidates in these fields to pursue their immigration dreams in Ontario, Canada.

Since the start of 2023, the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) has been actively issuing invitations to a total of 9,560 Express Entry profiles through seven draws in the Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream.

IRCC Increases OINP Quota

The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has raised the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) quota for the year 2023 to 16,500, a significant increase compared to the allocation of 9,750 in the previous year of 2022.

Even more promisingly, the quota is projected to further rise to 18,361 by the year 2025.
