How ACT (Australian Capital Territory) Nominations Process Work?
Each month, the ACT (Australian Capital Territory) sets a fixed number of nomination places available, proportionate to the annual allocation. The most highly ranked Matrix applicants in each occupation are then invited to apply for ACT nomination. The selection cut-off is influenced by factors such as the remaining monthly allocation, the time and date of Matrix submission, occupation caps, and overall demand.
The occupation’s demand directly impacts the ranking of the invited Matrix scores, with higher demand leading to higher-ranked invitations. It’s important to note that the minimum ranking score serves only as an indication and does not guarantee an invitation. If an applicant already has an active application in the system or has previously received an ACT nomination, they will not be issued a new invitation.
