Those, who fulfill the eligibility criteria for the Express Entry sub-categories or Occupations In-Demand, they are capable of submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI). This is the first step to apply for the Saskatchewan Immigration Nomination Program (SINP).
International Skilled Worker Expression of Interest (EOI) System
The International Skilled Worker EOI is a part of the pre-application process, which provides an opportunity for the candidates to fill the online form. Through this procedure, the candidates show their interest in submitting an application to the SINP and provide relevant proofs of their qualification.
Through this process, candidates who are eligible and can fulfill the labor market needs of Saskatchewan may apply for the SINP. The selected candidates will receive an “Invitation to Apply” (ITA).
NOTE: The SINP holds the authority to limit the intake of EOI as well as the number of candidates selected through the EOI process.
Ranking the Candidates
After the successful submission of EOI, the candidates will receive a score depending on their individual circumstances. This is the most essential part associated with the Expression of Interest process of SINP, which rank candidates with reference to their highest scores.
Invitation to Apply ITA
An invitation to Apply (ITA) is issued to the successful candidates who get high scores through the EOI process. The factors including employment demands and processing targets play a vital role in deciding the total number of invitations issued.
The validity period for an EOI profile is one year and during this period you may improve the chances of your candidature by updating your profile. For instance, you can enhance the chances of receiving an ITA by improving your education and work experience.
