South Australia has announced exemptions from the English language and work experience requirements for a particular category of state nomination applicants.
Under the new scheme, high performing international graduates from public universities in South Australia, will be able to claim these exemptions, as well as ‘financial requirement waiver’.
Such applicants will also have access to a more extensive list of occupations on the State Occupation List or the Supplementary Skilled List.
However, applicants will still be required to meet the work experience and English language proficiency required for the skills assessment and registration.
To apply as a high performing graduate, an applicant must currently reside in South Australia. In addition, applicants must have completed one of the following qualifications at a South Australian public university in the last two years with the required Grade Point Average.
