On June 8, 2023, the most recent draw for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) issued a total of 500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residency. This draw focused on two specific categories, aiming to attract skilled individuals to contribute to the province’s workforce.
The SINP draw of 2023 emphasized 18 distinct occupations, each with their corresponding National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes. These targeted occupations reflect the province’s current needs and offer potential immigrants an opportunity to utilize their skills and expertise in areas where demand is high.
Applicants Selected Under Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand Stream
A total of 268 applicants were invited in the most recent Saskatchewan PNP Draw, held on June 8, 2023, under the Express Entry category, while 232 applicants were invited under the occupation in-demand category. Notably, compared to the previous Saskatchewan PNP Draw, which occurred on May 18, 2023, the cutoff score for this draw saw a modest increase of 2 points.
Opportunity for Non–Residing Candidates
Candidates who are not currently residing in Canada have the opportunity to apply directly through the SINP for both the Express Entry category and the occupation in-demand category.
Those individuals who prefer to apply to the SINP without going through the Express Entry system can submit their applications under the occupation in-demand category.
It’s important to note that there is a specific list of National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes that are not eligible for the SINP.
