Pakistan Merit Postgraduate Scholarships at University of Sheffield in UK, 2016

University of Sheffield is pleased to offer range of scholarships to students of high academic ability for 2016 entry. Pakistani students are eligible to apply for these scholarships to undertake postgraduate program at the university.

The university aims to assist international students who require financial assistance with scholarships specifically for Pakistani students.

The university is ranked 97th in the world and 15th in the UK according to the 2015-16 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

There are high entrance requirements for masters degree programmes at Sheffield which reflect the quality of the university. Applicants may be required to take an internationally recognized English language test such as IELTS.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for international students to pursue masters degree program.

Study Subject: Scholarships are tenable in all subject areas at the University of Sheffield.

Scholarship Award: Each scholarship is worth 50% of the postgraduate yearly tuition fee per year. The scholarships will take the form of a fee reduction.

Eligibility: Scholarship has its own set of eligibility criteria which applicants should check carefully to make sure applicants are eligible before they apply. The scholarship will be awarded to international on the basis of merit and the supporting statement.
–To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be self-funding and classed as ‘overseas’ for fee purposes and Pakistan national or permanently domiciled in Pakistan, apply for a study place by 17 June 2016 for entry in September 2016.
–If applicants wish to be considered for this scholarship they need to apply online, the application link will be distributed to eligible students by email from January onwards.

Nationality: Students of Pakistan are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

College Admission Requirement: Applicants must have a good undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification, Three years to five years’ postgraduate work experience. This should include appropriate experience as a manager or in a supervisory role and on occasion, the university may consider delegates without a first degree but with significant management experience

English Language Requirements: Applicants may be required to take an internationally recognized English language test such as IELTS. Applicants need IELTS 7.0 with no component below 6.

How to Apply: All students who are eligible for a scholarship and have accepted their offer before the closing date will be automatically considered.

Application Deadline: The scholarship application must be received by 24th June 2016.
