Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities Stream issues 488 Invitations to the eligible candidates during a recent round conducted on February 12, 2018. These candidates were having a profile in the federal Express Entry pool. The issuance of NOIs allows them to apply for a provincial nomination.
According to Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), only those candidates have received invitations who had submitted their Express Entry profiles between January 1 and February 8, 2018, till 4 p.m. EST. The OINP has further stated that it will continue the process of NOIs issuance to eligible Express Entry candidates through the Human Capital Priorities Stream on a “regular basis”.
This recently conducted invitation round had issued Notifications of Interest or NOIs to the selected Express Entry candidates. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of these selected candidates was between 435 and 441.

These Express Entry candidates after receiving their NOIs are now in a position to applying for a provincial nomination offered by Ontario. They will receive additional 600 points regarding their CRS score after being successful in obtaining the provincial nomination.
The Human Capital Priorities Stream gives an opportunity to the OINP for locating candidates with a CRS score above 400 within the Express Entry pool. According to the OINP, candidates invited through recent round are those who got themselves identified through a search conducted on January 25.
This invitations round of February 12 is the fourth one launched by Human Capital Priorities Stream during 2018. As a whole, a total number of 1,297 invitations are issued up till now after the first round conducted on January 23.
