Ontario PNP Draws: Ontario Invited 1,760 Applicants for PR in June 2023

Typically, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) promptly updates the details of its draws on the same day or the following day, unless Ontario elections occur. However, it is important to note that there are no ongoing elections in Ontario at the moment.

Considering that the details of these three draws were updated today, there may have been an error in the initial announcement where the digit ‘1’ was inadvertently omitted for the dates June 16 and 6. Alternatively, it is also possible that the OINP experienced a delay in updating the information, resulting in the update being released after 10 days.

Foreign Worker Stream Draw

A total of 451 invitations to apply (ITAs) were recently issued by the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream. These invitations were specifically targeted toward Ontario PNP profiles with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 57 and above. The purpose of this stream is to facilitate the selection and invitation of skilled foreign workers who have received a job offer from an employer in Ontario.

By focusing on profiles with a minimum CRS score of 57, the program aims to ensure that candidates selected for further processing possess a competitive level of eligibility and the potential to succeed in the Canadian labor market.

Masters Graduate Stream Draw

In a remarkable feat, the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) recently distributed an unprecedented number of invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency. A record-breaking 1,175 ITAs were sent out specifically under the Master’s Graduate Stream, reflecting the program’s commitment to attracting and retaining highly skilled individuals.

This particular draw encompassed all the Expressions of Interest (EOIs) created under the Master’s Graduate Stream within the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) with a score of 46 and above.

Ph.D. Graduate Stream Draw

The Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) recently conducted a draw under the Ph.D. Graduate Stream, resulting in the issuance of 134 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency. This draw encompassed all Expressions of Interest (EOIs) submitted under the Ph.D. Graduate Stream within the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) that achieved a minimum score of 42 or higher.
