Ontario Issues 2,086 NOIs in Healthcare – Targeted Occupation Draw

February 7, 2024BY Sheraz

Ontario’s Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) continues to play a vital role in attracting skilled individuals through its Human Capital Priorities stream. In a recent draw conducted on February 6, 2024, a total of 2,086 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) were issued to candidates meeting the specified criteria.

The draw targeted candidates whose profiles were created in the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Express Entry system between February 6, 2023, and February 6, 2024. This targeted approach allows the province to streamline the selection process and focus on occupations that align with Ontario’s specific labor market needs.

Lowest CRS Score

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score range for this draw fell between 379 and 430, reflecting the program’s focus on candidates with high human capital attributes.

The Human Capital Priorities stream, with its regular draws and targeted selection approach, stands as a pathway for skilled individuals to make Ontario their new home. As the province continues to welcome talent, these initiatives contribute to the growth and diversity of Ontario’s workforce.

Prospective applicants are advised to stay informed about the program updates and ensure their profiles align with the targeted occupations outlined by the OINP. The success of Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities stream lies in its commitment to selecting candidates who can make meaningful contributions to the province’s thriving communities.

What is the Notifications of Interest (NOIs)?

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) regularly scans the Express Entry pool managed by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to discover potential candidates eligible for Ontario’s Express Entry immigration streams.

What is the Notifications of Interest (NOIs)?

If you are spotted in the pool, you’ll be notified of your selection through your Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada online account. It’s important to note that receiving this notification of interest doesn’t automatically mean you meet the requirements for any specific stream. Upon receiving the notification, you have the opportunity to submit an online application to the OINP, but only if you qualify under the Ontario Express Entry stream corresponding to your notification of interest. Remember, the application must be submitted within 45 calendar days from the date of receiving the notification of interest.
