Nova Scotia has issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians under the Healthcare Professionals Immigration Pilot. Those who received a Letter of Interest in their Express Entry profile from Nova Scotia on August 28, 2024, can now apply for permanent residency through this specific program.
Healthcare Professionals Immigration Pilot
The Healthcare Professionals Immigration Pilot provides a distinct pathway to permanent residency for eligible healthcare workers. This program functions separately from the traditional Express Entry system, meaning participants won’t receive the additional 600 points typically granted in Express Entry profiles.
Nova Scotia has supplied applicants with survey links, allowing them to show an interest in working as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician in the province. This procedure is overseen by the Nova Scotia Office of Healthcare Professionals Recruitment, the Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia, and the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists. Your responses to these questionnaires will be shared with possible employers in the healthcare profession.
Invited occupations are:
Occupation | NOC Code |
---|---|
Pharmacists | 31120 |
Pharmacy Technicians | 32124 |
If you are a healthcare professional who did not receive a Letter of Interest on August 28, 2024, consider exploring other immigration programs or pathways that may better match your qualifications and goals.
