Newcastle University Pakistan Scholarships for Postgraduate Students in UK, 2016

Newcastle University is offering Pakistan scholarships in 2016-2017 academic year. The scholarship is available for postgraduate master’s degree programmes.

University is governed by a number of statutory bodies. The Executive Board comprises the senior management team that has oversight of the day-to-day running of the University.

Applicants must hold a conditional or unconditional offer of a place on a postgraduate master’s degree programme at Newcastle Universityat the time of applying for this scholarship. Applicants need a good level of English language to study at Newcastle University. Applicants will need to provide a recognised English language test or qualification unless you’re exempt. This is usually a test score of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent, but requirements can vary between IELTS 6.0 to 8.0. All students need at least 5.5 in each sub-skill, or equivalent.

Scholarship Award: Each scholarship has a value £4,500 payable towards the first year of tuition fees.

Eligibility: In order to apply for one of these scholarships you must satisfy all of the following conditions:
-Applicants must be a national of (or permanently domiciled in) Pakistan
-Applicants must hold a conditional or unconditional offer of a place on a postgraduate master’s degree programme at Newcastle University, Newcastle city campus at the time of applying for this scholarship
-Applicants must have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes
-Applicants must intend to register to start your studies during the 2016-17 academic year
-Applicants must be a self-funded student and not be in receipt of any other centrally awarded Newcastle University scholarship

College Admission Requirement

Masters Scholarship

Supporting Material: When applicants submit their application, they should include copies of certificates or transcripts to confirm their degree or highest qualification. If any of their documents are in another language applicants will need to supply certified English language translations. If applicants are from outside the EU, applicants will also need to include a copy of the personal details page from their passport.

How to Apply: Applicants should complete the application form electronically and in accordance with the country specific scholarship regulations. Please note that NU Pakistan Scholarship applications cannot be considered for candidates unless they have already applied for and been offered a place to study at the University.
