During a draw conducted on March 16, Manitoba invites another 313 candidates to apply for Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This specific program allows Manitoba to permit new immigrants to seek permanent residence. However, such candidates must have the capability to settle down in the province, along with their families. Moreover, these candidates must fulfill Manitoba’s eligibility criteria for an immigration process.
February 16 MPNP draw for skilled workers
Through February 16 MPNP skilled workers draw, 250 candidates received a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA). This issuance was in line with the relevant criteria for the sub-category of Skilled Workers in Manitoba.
The other 63 candidates received 63 LAAs in the Skilled Workers Overseas sub-category. These candidates received such invitations directly through MPNP’s Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
The details of such initiatives are as follows:
Exploratory visits
Through this initiative, MPNP can invite those prospective immigrants who qualify for the pre-approved Exploratory Visit. In addition, they must have passed an interview, conducted by one of the program officials.
Recruitment missions
These recruitment missions work through overseas employment/immigration fairs. During this process, MPNP representatives conduct interviews with foreign skilled workers. Subsequently, successful candidates receive an invitation to apply. However, candidates must provide a formal Expression of Interest (EOI) to MPNP.

Important of EOI
Only those candidates can receive LAAs, who have already submitted their Expression of Interest (EOI) to Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. This certificate allows the applicant to apply for their immigration to Canadian.
Points system
MPNP uses a unique point system for ranking the eligible candidates under its Skilled Workers sub-categories. Each candidate may get up to 1,000 points through this points system.
