Latest BC PNP Draw: Canada Invited 372 Candidates for PR on January 10, 2024

On January 10, 2024, the first British Columbia (BC) PNP draw of the year occurred. In this draw, 372 invitations for permanent residency were issued. These invitations were distributed through both general and targeted draws, encompassing a range of profiles. In the general draw, a total of 110 invites were sent out, including those under the Express Entry, BC PNP Skills Immigration streams, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled streams.

In the recent general draw, the cutoff score increased by 4-5 points across all streams compared to the previous round on December 12, 2023.

Additionally, 113 invitations were issued to profiles with experience as early childhood educators’ assistants or instructors (NOC 42202).

Moreover, British Columbia’s new category-based draw invited only 74 applicants with experience in 25 construction-related occupations.

Furthermore, 75 profiles, featuring experience in 39 healthcare-related occupations, received invitations to apply for permanent residency.
