The Government of Canada is keen to improve their immigration policies. They are also involving the public in this matter. Recently, the Government of Canada asked the opinion of its citizens on Canadian immigration.
People were asked to give their views on the meaning of immigration – what does Canadian immigration mean to them? They were asked about ways how Canada can continue to expand Canadian immigration globally and how can the country grow through the process.
The Canadian citizens are open to give their opinion on the matter. They can submit their responses online. The public involvement has been started. And it will last till August 5, 2016. Until then, anyone who is a Canadian citizen can submit their written response online on the Canadian government’s website.
There are other consultations also that involve and invite public. These include cross-Canada round table discussions. The minister and parliamentary secretary will lead the discussions.
