In the most recent draw for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) Express Entry, which took place on November 30, a total of 1,052 invitations were issued. These invitations were extended to individuals to apply for provincial nominations.
This draw from the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) specifically targeted candidates in the Express Entry pool. It marks a significant event as the previous draw took place over two months ago on September 26, 2023.
OINP Express Entry Draw Focused on Healthcare Professionals
In today’s OINP draw, Express Entry profiles showcasing expertise in one of 42 healthcare-related occupations are eligible under the Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP).
Lowest CRS Score for OINP Express Entry Draw
Candidates who possess a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score falling between 404 and 430 are in the position to receive invitations. These invitations are extended for the purpose of pursuing provincial nominations from Ontario.
Since October 26, there has been no Express Entry draw conducted by IRCC. The last draw on October 26, which focused on healthcare, invited 3,600 candidates with a CRS score of 431 or higher.
Considering that candidates with scores above 430 may receive direct invitations from IRCC, OINP used the October 26 draw as a benchmark and extended invitations to candidates below that threshold.
While the drought in Express Entry draws by IRCC persists, OINP has taken the initiative to conduct a draw specifically targeting Express Entry profiles.
Candidates Have 45 Days to Respond
Individuals who receive invitations in today’s draw will be required to respond within 45 days by submitting a comprehensive application to accept provincial nominations.
Upon OINP approval, these selected Express Entry profiles will benefit from an additional 600 points, elevating their Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score to a range of 1,004 to 1,030.
