The recent Express Entry draw of October 18, 2017, has shown a reduction in the minimum CRS requirements. The statistics of this draw show that out of total 2,757 candidates, those scoring the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points of 436 or above have received an Invitation to Apply (ITA). Hence, we can state that the candidates who have scored 436 or above points are now eligible to apply for the Canadian immigration.

Express Entry system
In order to qualify for the Express Entry pool, the candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for any of these three immigration programs of Express Entry system.
- Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC)
- Federal Skilled Trades Class (FTSC)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Once the eligible candidates make their way into Express Entry pool, they will get a CRS score, which depends on the factors mentioned below.
