Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has been surprising everyone with their recent Express Entry Draws. At the end of 2016, they surprised with a huge Express Entry draw. It was the largest ever Express Entry draw until 2016, but IRCC have few more surprises for you!
IRCC has conducted an Express Entry Draw on 4th January and it broke the record of December 22 Express Entry Draw. They have issued 2,902 Invitations to Apply for Canadian Immigration. Since the launch of Express Entry, this is the largest ever draw.
The Canadian Immigration Department, IRCC issued the invitation to apply to those candidates who had a minimum of 468 points or more. After April 2016, it’s the first time that required CRS score has dropped below 470. In April 2016, the required CRS score was also 468.
As IRCC has claimed in the last November that they will reduce the required CRS score and increase the numbers of ITAs, they have kept their words.
Candidates who are selected in the latest draw are now eligible to submit their application for Canadian Immigration.
