In the two latest draws, Manitoba has invited a total of 605 candidates to apply for immigration under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). The first draw was conducted on May 30 in which 401 candidates were asked to apply for a provincial nomination certificate. The invitation was sent to those applicants who wanted to get settled in Manitoba as a skilled worker. The recent draw was held on 16th of June and a total of 204 candidates were invited to apply.
This is the first time since March 30 that Manitoba has invited skilled workers under these two categories. The candidates who received the invitation will apply for the provincial nomination. The successful candidates will be in a position to seek the permanent resident status through applying to the federal government.
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program is designed to greet new immigrants who have the potential to meet the requirements set by the provincial government. MPNP is one of the most successful provincial nominee programs of Canada.
On 30th of May, 256 candidates received the invitation to apply (formally known as Letter of Advice or LAA) under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba sub-category. The remaining 143 candidates out of 401 received a Letter of Advice under Skilled Workers Overseas sub-category.
On 16th of June, 180 candidates were invited under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba sub-category and remaining 24 candidates were issued under the Skilled Workers Overseas sub-category.
