Canada Invited 5,000 Applicants Under PNP Programs in the First Week of August 2023

Just recently, on August 3rd, 2023, the province of Ontario in Canada organized a draw for their Skilled Trades Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). During this event, a remarkable 2,844 candidates were invited to apply for the provincial nomination. People with scores between 250 and 516 in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) were the lucky ones to receive Notifications of Interest. This special invitation gives them the chance to apply for the provincial nomination, which is a big step toward becoming a permanent resident of Ontario.

Alberta PNP Draws for Express Entry Stream

The province of Alberta has unveiled the details of its Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) with a focus on the Express Entry stream. Two draws were recently held on August 1st and July 18th. During these selective draws, Alberta extended a total of 57 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates who met the criteria for provincial nomination. These candidates had Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores ranging from 311 to 322. These letters were disbursed to facilitate applications for provincial nomination through the latest selection process of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
