The BCPNP sends 58 new Invitations to Apply (ITA’s) to graduates and skilled workers in ‘IT’ sector, for a provincial nomination.
The recent draw of March 28 prioritized those candidates who hold a job offer regarding any of the 32 eligible occupations provided in the BC PNP Tech Pilot. The basic purpose of this pilot program is to facilitate the graduates and tech workers to live in the province and fulfill needs of the local labour market.
In fact, the minimum score essential to be successful was relatively lower than the draw, which took place last week. However, during the previous draw, only the graduates, entrepreneurs and workers outside the tech pilot were invited.
The candidates should complete their registration in BC’s unique Skilled Immigration System through any one of these two categories.
- Skills Immigration Stream
- Express Entry BC
Those candidates, who manage to get a provincial nomination through Express Entry BC: International Graduate and Express Entry BC: Skilled Worker, they will obtain 600 additional points via Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). After this, the successful candidates will then be able to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) through upcoming Express Entry Draw.
