The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is serving as the right way for prospective immigrants. Through this program, a large number of international graduates, entrepreneurs and workers can get Canadian immigration. During recent BC PNP draw, 437 candidates received invitations to apply (ITA). This draw is the fifth one since BC started issuing ITAs during the month of February this year.
March 22 Draw
During March 22 draw, 437 candidates received their ITAs. Out of these, 12 candidates received ITAs through Entrepreneur Immigration stream. However, 425 ITAs were shared between different categories of the Express Entry BC streams and Skills Immigration. A unique Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) of the Province manages all these streams.
Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS)
It is a points-based system, which allows BC to select and rank eligible candidates under a large variety of sub-categories. After receiving the ITAs, these candidates are now capable of submitting their application to BC PNP. Some candidates may apply through the enhanced BC PNP sub-categories, associated with the federal Express Entry selection system.
However, other candidates can file their applications at the federal level. These applications undergo their processing outside the Express Entry system. It is essential to keep in mind that ITAs issued by BC PNP are different from those, sent through federal Express Entry level.
