With the increase in the number of foreign students in Australian universities, demand for Australian student visa is breaking all records.
The records indicate that providing international education is Australia’s one of the two major export services, tourism being the other top service. Together, these two Australian immigration policies will result in the growing economy of the country.
Australian student visa adds $21 billion to Australian economy each year. These foreign students are provided about 130,000 jobs along with many businesses that benefit from it including retail, hospitality and property sectors.
The visits to these foreign students by their family and friends contribute $300 million to the Australian economy each year. In 2015, the recorded contribution from offshore delivered courses by Australian institutes was $400 million.
Additional $205 million revenue is generated only through students studying English without Australian student visa.
