British Columbia Invited 176 Candidates to Apply in the Latest PNP Draw

The British Columbia PNP held the latest invitation round for skilled immigrants on May 2, 2023. They issued 176 invitations to apply to skilled workers and international graduates who were present in the pool during the first draw in May.

The British Columbia PNP draw is divided into two categories:

1. Targeted Draw
2. General Draw

Targeted Draw

A targeted draw issued Invitations to apply to a total of 43 candidates across the following categories with minimum scores required:

1. 22 applicants are selected from Childcare: Early Childhood Educators & Assistants
2. 16 candidates were invited from Healthcare
3. 5 candidates were invited from Other Priority Occupations

Each candidate in all these categories had at least 60 points.

General Draw

The General Draw, which also covered tech professionals, granted 133 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to skilled workers and international graduates under five British Columbia Provincial Nominee streams. The required minimum scores ranged from 85 to 107 points.

British Columbia grants Invitations to Apply to eligible candidates on a weekly basis, subject to certain exceptions. The frequency, date, and size of the upcoming provincial nominee program draw depend on the requirement of skilled individuals in the market.
