Quebec Releases an Updated List of Occupations, Which Fall Under Facilitated LMIA Process

Quebec’s Immigration Ministry has issued an updated list of occupations, which exempt from the Labour Market Impact Assessment advertising requirement. The occupations associated with this list are referred as the high-wage and specialized positions.

When the Quebec employer is going to hire a foreign employee under any of the occupations mentioned in the list, such an employer doesn’t require to locally advertise the job role at first place.
