Candidates interested in Canadian Immigration were invited to apply under its Express Entry Program. The candidates were requires to score a total of 482 or more on Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) in order to apply for Canadian permanent residency in the latest Express Entry pool draw. The draw was held on June 29 to which 773 invitations to apply (ITA) were issued.

The previous Canadian Immigration Express Entry draw required a score of 488 on CRS. It was held on June 15. 752 ITA were issued then. The decrease in CRS score resulted in an increase in the ITA.

Express Entry is the management system for Canadian Immigration. The federal economic immigration programs like Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades, and the Canadian Experience Class are included in it. It was launched back in January 1, 2015.

Candidates eligible under this program submit their profile and are subjected to ranking on the CRS. Canadian government selects top ranked candidates on priority basis. Candidates willing to have permanent residence have to apply within 60 days of their ITA. The further processing takes 6 months time.
