BC PNP Draw: Canada Invited 193 Candidates for PR on January 16, 2024

On January 16, the British Columbia BC PNP draw of 2024 distributed over 193 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency (PR) through specific draws.

In a special BC PNP draw focusing on 35 technical jobs, 91 invitations were extended under both the Express Entry and BC PNP Skills Immigration streams.

The minimum required score decreased by 4 points across all categories in the technology-focused draw when compared to the previous similar invitation round on December 19, 2023.

Additionally, 53 invitations were extended to individuals with backgrounds as assistants or instructors in early childhood education (NOC 42202).

Furthermore, the new category-based draw for British Columbia saw only 75 applicants with experience in 25 construction-related occupations being invited.

Moreover, 29 profiles with expertise in 39 healthcare-related occupations were also invited to apply for permanent residency.
