Manitoba issued a total of 555 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) linked with provincial nomination program on July 6, 2018. The candidates who received these (LAAs) were a part of the Expression of Interest (EOI) pool.
Out of 555 Letters of Advice to Apply, 202 letters were issued to the candidates under the Sub-stream of Manitoba Express Entry program. The lowest score under a unique Expression of Interest (EOI) points system of Manitoba was 519, which is the lowest for this Sub-stream operating under Express Entry.
The successful Express Entry candidates will receive an additional 600 points regarding their ‘CRS’ score. These additional points will enhance the chances of such candidates to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) during a subsequent federal Express Entry Draw.
The remaining 217 candidates applying under Skilled Worker Overseas Stream who managed to obtain 572 or above EOI score received the Letters of Advice to Apply. The eligibility criteria met by these candidates are as follows.
Under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative of Skilled Worker Overseas Stream, another 32 candidates received LAAs. The EOI scores of these candidates were 639 or above. Through July 6 draw; 104 candidates also received LAAs, who applied under the ‘Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream’.
Overseas skilled workers and those living in Manitoba who received a LAA through July 6 draw and their provincial nomination applications are accepted, they can now apply for Canadian permanent residence. However, each of these candidates needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria for Canadian PR.
