New Zealand is seeking people who are well equipped with skills that can contribute to the economic growth of the country. If you find yourself to be the one, you have the option to apply under Skilled Migrant Category of New Zealand Resident Program.
This category is a point-based system and you receive points for your qualification, work experience, age, and job employment letter from a New Zealand employee etc. The application procedure requires you to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), on the behalf of which you may get an opportunity to further apply for working in New Zealand. Once you are selected, you’re entitled the right to stay in the country for an indefinite time period.
It needs to mentioned here that this visa allows you to include your partner and dependent children (under the age of 24), in your residence application. Furthermore, you can apply for permanent residency later on if you comply with the conditions of this visa.
560 Expressions of Interest (EOIs) selected under the Skilled Migrant Category:
On 31 October 2018, 560 Expressions of Interest (EOIs) under the Skilled Migrant Category were selected.
The selected candidates scored 160 or more points, representing a whole of 1,258 people. They will be initially verified before being issued the invitation to apply for residency.
After the recent selection, 577 EOIs are in the pool.
