The figures shown above do not display those invitations, issued by State and Territory Government nominated visa subclasses. State and Territory Governments keeps on nominating throughout the whole month for following Sub-classes.

Things to Know about Invitation Process and Cut Offs

Only those candidates, who gain the highest rank with reference to point scores, may seek an invitation to apply. Those candidates having equal point scores receive their invitation with relation to the time of obtaining specific point score. Expressions of Interest (EOIs), related to earlier dates of effect, are processed on a priority basis as compared late arrivals.

Due to the high requirement, the groups mentioned below will receive pro rata treatment. This mechanism will ensure availability of invitations during the whole program year. SkillSelect treats Skilled – Independent visas (Subclass-189) on a priority basis and then allocates remaining places to Skilled – Regional Provisional visas (Subclass-489). In case, Subclass-189 visas take all the vacant places, then Subclass-489 visas will not be able to receive any such invitation.
